In the name of God Amen I Richard Wilbe of Hanslop in the County of Bucks Chair turner being but in an indifferent state of Bodily health but of a sound disposing mind memory and Understanding (praised be God for the same) and considering the frailty of human life the certainty of Death and the Uncertainty of the time thereof Do therefore make and declare this alone to be last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say)   ffirst I give and bequeath unto my Son in Law Edward Gregory of Hanslop aforesaid my second best Blue Coat and a Black Waist Coat   I give and bequeath unto my Grandson George Wilbe of Hanslop aforesaid my old Great Coat my brown Strait bodied Coat with a black Waist Coat and a pair of Leather Breeches Also I give and bequeath unto him the Lathe and working Tools to the same belonging standing in my Shop that which he has been usually accustomed to work with   Also I give and bequeath unto him my Old Slitting Saw and two long Planes and a Jack Plane   I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Richard Wilbe my Silver Buckles   All which said Bequeaths above mentioned I do hereby order and direct shall be delivered in manner and to the persons above mentioned by my Executor hereinafter mentioned immediately after my Decease   Also all the rest residue and remainder of my Goods household Goods Beds Bedding Linen Woolen Brass Pewter Brewing Vessels and all other my Implements of Household whatsoever and Also all my working Tools Stock in Trade and Implements thereto belonging my wearing apparel (that are not herein before by me disposed of) Cattle Crop moneys and Securities for money Debts Leases Effects and all other my personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature sort or kind soever I give and bequeath unto my Son William Pays Wilbe and to his Executors and Administrators Provided nevertheless and upon Condition that he my said Son William Pays Wilbe his Executors and Administrators do and shall thereout well and sufficiently provide for my loving wife Mary a good sufficient Maintenance in Meat Drink washing lodging and Clothes for and during the term of her natural life and also do and shall pay and discharge all my just Debts which I shall owe to any person or persons at the time of my Decease   Also I do hereby make nominate constitute and appoint my said Son William Pays Wilbe sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former and other Wills by me a any time heretofore made and I do declare this alone to be my last Will and Testament and I make my friend George West of Hanslop aforesaid Baker Overseer of this my Will and to take care and see the same performed according to my true intent and meaning    In Witness whereof I the said Richard Wilbe the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this fifteenth day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy three The marks of Richard Wilbe Signed sealed published and declared by the above named Richard Wilbe the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in our presence and attested and subscribed in his presence and in the presence of each other By us Thomas Grammer.   John Chapman
