In the Name of God I Soloman Vass of Hanslop in the County of Bucks Mason being weak in body but of sound mind memory and understanding praised be Almighty God for the same do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following Viz  First and  I commit my Soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it hoping to be saved through the merits of Jesus Christ my Saviour and Redemer and as for my body I commit it to the earth to be decently interrd at the direction of my Executrix hereinafter mentioned and as for those wordly Goods which it hath pleased God to bestow upon me I dispose of in manner and form following Imprimis I Give and bequeath unto Mary my loving wife All and singular my Houses or part of Houses in Church end in the parish of Hanslop aforesaid One of them I now dwell in the rest in the tenure or Occupation of Benjamin Mehew  Thomas Burbidge William Pearson and William Bull  Also all that Land in Dunsanger Field now in the tenure or Occupation of Edmond Benson during the term of her natural life without impeachment or Waste and after the decease of my said wife I Give and bequeath unto my loving Son Thomas Vass all my said Houses and land aforesaid to him and his heirs and Assigns for ever And Lastly I constitute my said loving wife Sole executrix and do give and bequeath unto her all my Estate both real and personal whatsoever or wheresoever within the realm of Great Brittain after payment of my just Debts Legacies and funeral expences   And Lastly I constitute and appoint my said loving wife sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament revoking all former Wills made by me at any time heretofore and do declare this only to be my last Will and Testament   In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the Ninth day of February in the Thirty third Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the grace of God of Great Brittain ffrance and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and soforth and in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and sixty – Soloman Vass – Signed sealed and delivered by the Testator in his presence and in the presence of each other by us – Thomas Billing Sen. – The mark of Jasper Vass  Thomas Billing Jun.
