This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Shrieve of Hanslope in the County of Buckingham Farmer   I direct that all my legal Debts Funeral and testamentary Expenses shall be paid by my Executrix as soon as conveniently may be after my decease out of my personal estate   I give and devise all my messuages cottages closes lands tenements hereditaments and real estate unto my dear Wife Elizabeth Shrieve and her Heirs and Assigns for ever         I give and bequeath unto my said Wife her executors administrators and assigns All my household furniture monies owing to me securities for money live and dead farming stock goods chattels personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature sort or kindsoever (subject to the payments aforesaid)   I appoint my said Wife Executrix of this my Will and hereby revoking all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made   I do declare this only to be my true last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty fourth day of October One thousand eight hundred and forty two – Thomas Shrieve (LS) Signed sealed published and declared by the said Thomas Shrieve the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses – Ann Arrowsmith – George Arrowsmith – James Arrowsmith Solicitor Newport Pagnell Bucks
