In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Ratnitt of Hanslop in the County of Bucks Yeoman being Sick and Weak in Body but of Sound and disposing Mind Memory and Understanding praised be God for the same Do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)   Imprimis I give Devise and Bequeath All that House and Leys which I bought of John Newman and which are in the parish of Hanslop aforesaid And also all that Close in Hanslop aforesaid which I Bought of Thomas Rawlins unto my Wife Mary Ratnitt for and during the Term of her Natural Life And from and after her Decease I Give Devise and Bequeath the same unto my Son John Ratnitt untill my Grandson Thomas Ratnitt shall Attain his Age of Thirty Years if the said Thomas Ratnitt shall so long live   And from and Immediately after my said Grandson Thomas Ratnitt shall have Attained his full Age of Thirty Years I Give Devise and Bequeath the same unto my said Grandson Thomas Ratnitt his Heirs and Assigns for ever And I do hereby further Direct and Appoint and Declare this my Will and meaning to be that in case my said Son John Ratnitt shall Depart this Life in the Lifetime of my said Grandson Thomas Ratnitt and before my said Grandson Thomas Ratnitt shall Attain to his Age of Thirty Years Then and in such case I Give devise and Bequeath the same unto my Daughter in Law Alice Ratnitt the Wife of my said Son John Ratnitt untill my said Grandson Thomas Ratnitt shall Attain his Age of Thirty Years as aforesaid But in  case my said Grandson Thomas Ratnitt shall Depart this Life before he Attains his Age of Thirty Years Then and in such case I Give Devise and Bequeath the same unto my Right Heirs for Ever   Item I Give and Bequeath unto my Wife Mary Ratnitt the sum of Forty pounds to be paid within Six Months after my Decease and one fourth part of all my Household Goods   Item all the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Goods Chattells and personal Estate whatsoever (my Debts Legacies and Funeral Charges being first paid and Discharged) I Give and Bequeath unto my said Son John Ratnitt And I do make my said Son John Ratnitt Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament And I do hereby Revoke and make Void all former Wills by me at any time heretofore by me made In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this fifth day of October in the fourth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Brittain ffrance and Ireland King Defender of the ffaith A D 1730 The Mark of Thomas Ratnitt Signed Sealed published and Declared by the Testator to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who Attested the same in the Testators presence Richard Thursby  Edward Hobbs  Thomas Hill
