In the Name of God Amen I John Parratt of Hanslopp in the County of Bucks Yeoman being well [sic] in body but of Sound and perfect mind and memory praised be Almighty God for the same do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say ffirst I commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator hopeing thro the Meritorious death and passion of Jesus Christ my Saviour and Redeemer to receive ffree pardon of All my Sins And as for my body I comit the same to the Earth from whence it came to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named And as for that Worldly Estate which God has bestowed upon me I dispose of as followeth Imprimis I Give and devise unto my Son John Parratt and his heirs All my ffreehold Houses and Land and Sole Estate whatsoever and wheresoever but in case my said Son shall happen to dye before he shall attain his Age of One and Twenty  years leaveing no Issue of his body Then I give and devise my said real estate to my loveing Wife Ann Parratt and her heirs for ever But in case my Son and Wife shall both dye before my said Son shall attain his Age of One and Twenty Years my said Son leaveing no Issue of his Body Then I Give and devise my said real estate to and amongst the  Children of my Brother in Law Richard Dexter and their Heires for ever nevertheless that if my said Son shall dye before he attaine the Age of One and twenty yeares leaving issue of his body Then I give and devise my said real estate to the Heires of his body but in case such Issue shall dye before he or they shall attaine to the Age of One and Twenty Years then and in such case I Give and devise my said real estate to and amongst the Children of my said Brother in Law Richard Dexter and their Heires as aforesaid   Item I give and devise unto my said loveing Wife Anne Parratt All my Goods and Chattells and personal Estate whatsoever And I do make and Ordaine my said loveing Wife Anne Parratt full and Sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament revokeing all former Will or Wills by me made In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seale this ffourteenth day of May in the ffifth Yeare of the raigne of our Soveraigne Lord George by the Grace of God of Great Britain ffrance and Ireland King Defender of the ffaith etc.. 1719 ….
