In the name of God Amen I John Panter of Hanslope in the County of Bucks Butcher being in perfect health of body and of perfect mind and memory thanks be given to God calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die but the time thereof being uncertain Do make and ordain this alone to be my last Will and Testament (That is to say) touching the whole of my worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I Give devise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form Solely I give and bequeath to Elizabeth my loving Wife whom I likewise constitute make and ordain the sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament all and singular my goods household goods cattle stock debts and moveable effects by her freely to be possessed and enjoyed And I do hereby disallow revoke and disannul all former Wills and Testament by me in any was before named ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this third day of December in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Eighty nine John Panter (LS) Signed sealed published pronounced and declared by the said John Panter as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names – Jethro InwoodF BarnesSarah Inwood
