In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Miller of Hanslope in the County of Bucks Victualer being weak in Body but of Sound Mind and Memory (Blessed be God) Do make and Ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)   First and principally I commend my Soul to God who gave it and my Body I commit to the Earth to be decently Buried at the Discretion of my Executor hereinafter named   In the first place I Will that all my just Debts and funeral Expences being first duly paid and Satisfied I give and dispose thereof as followeth (that is to say) I Give devise and bequeath to my Nephew John Miller Attorney in Buckingham one Shilling  I Also give devise and bequeath to my Sister Ann Brighton wife of John Brighton Butcher in Buckingham five pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain I Also give devise and bequeath to my Daughter in Law Ann Miller Victualler at the Black Lyon in Hanslope Bucks Widow of my son Edward Miller one Shilling All the rest residue and remainder of my Estate Real and Personal whatsoever and wheresoever I Give devise and bequeath the same to my loving Brother William Miller Carpenter in Preston Biset Bucks his Heirs and Assigns for ever I also nominate constitute  and appoint my said Brother William Miller sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all other Will or Wills heretofore made by me and allow this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the eighteenth day of January in the tenth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain ffrance and Ireland King defender of the ffaith and soforth And in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and seventy – Thomas Miller his Mark – Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Thomas Miller the Testator and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our Names as Witnesses hereto John PetterJohn Thorp his mark – Joseph Smith
