In the Name of God Amen I Edward Miller of Hanslope in the County of Bucks Victualear being weak in body but of Sound mind and memory (blessed be God) Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say)   First and principally I commend my Soul to God who gave it And my body I commit to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executrix hereinafter named   In the first place I Will that all my just Debts and Funeral expences be paid and satisfied   I Give and dispose thereof as followeth (that is to say) I Give devise and bequeath to my Father Thomas Miller five pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain I also give to my said Father Thomas Miller two Loads of Wood in Saley Forrest with all my Working Tools and Working Bench and Pit Saw   I Give and devise and bequeath unto my loving wife Ann Miller all my Goods Chattels and Estate of what Nature or kindsoever and wheresoever lying and being With all my ready money Securities for Money and whatsoever as shall die possessed of to her and her Heirs for ever   I also nominate constitute and appoint my said Wife Ann Miller Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all other Will or Wills heretofore made by me and allow this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Edward Miller have hereunto set my hand and seal the 5th day of June in the Ninth Year of the reign of our Sovereign………………….in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty nine Edward Miller – his Mark signed sealed published and declared by the said Edward Miller the Testator and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as Witnesses hereto Joseph Smith John Aris Freeman Gregory
