I Richard Latimer of the Parish of Hanslope in the County of Buckingham Cordwainer Do hereby make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say I give and bequeath my dwelling House and other premises situate in Hanslope aforesaid and now occupied by James Wills Labourer to my Wife Mary Latimer to reside in during the term of her natural life or so long as she remains unmarried at the same time my will is that the said Dwelling House and premises should be a home for my Daughters Ann Latimer and Letty Latimer to each of them respectively so long as she remains unmarried and no longer and that they shall live rent free while they reside there I also give unto my said Wife a Bedstead and Bedding and such other necessary Furniture to furnish the said Dwelling House I further will that immediately after my decease all my personal property be valued by an authorised Appraisor except what I have afore given to my said Wife and that after the payment of all my just debts funeral expences and the proving of this my last Will and Testament the amount be divided equally amongst all my Children or their heirs share and share alike I likewise will that my Dwelling House Bakehouse and other premises I now occupy in the Back Lane at Hanslope aforesaid together with my Close of Pasture Ground in Maltmill Lane and my two dwelling Houses now in possession of my Son in Law Thomas Branson and James Wills be vested in the hands of my executors hereinafter named for the benefit of my said Wife Mary Latimer that is to say I give and bequeath the sum of five shillings per week out of  these my estates to my said Wife so long as she shall remain unmarried and no longer  I also give to my daughter Ann Latimer in consideration of her affliction three shillings per week to be paid out of my said Estates untill the death of my Wife should she survive so long but in case the death of my said daughter Ann should happen before that of her Mother my will is that the said sum of three shillings per week hereby given to my said daughter Ann should be placed in the savings Bank untill the decease of my said Wife then after the decease of my said Wife my will is that the whole of my said Estates be sold by Auction or otherwise at the option of my Executors herein after named and that the amount thereof be divided amongst the whole of my Children or their heirs as before share and share alike And I hereby constitute and appoint my Eldest Son William Latimer and my friend James Bishop Maltster of Hanslope aforesaid joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament And I hereby revoke all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made and declare this and no other to be my last Will and Testament In Witnesses whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this twenty fifth day of February in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty eight Richard Latimer (LS) Signed sealed published and declared by the within named Testator Richard Latimer as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto affixed our names as witnesses – William Singleton   Sarah Smith   Joseph Gregory   William Latimer   James Bishop Executors
