In the Name of God Amen I John Keeves of Hanslop in the County of Bucks Butcher being in a tolerable good state of Bodily health and of a perfect sound and disposing mind memory and understanding (praised be God for the same) and considering the frailty of human nature the certainty of Death and the uncertainty of the time thereof Do therefore make and declare this alone to be my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say)   First I give and bequeath unto my six Sons (that is to say) Thomas Keeves John Keeves James Keeves William Keeves Gill Keeves Len Keeves and to my four Daughters (that is to say) Susannah Bowdon Betty Keeves Kitty Keeves and Sarah Keeves the sum of one shilling apiece to be paid to them within one calendar month next after my Decease by my Executrix hereinafter named   All and singular my Goods household goods Beds Bedding Linen Woollen Brass Pewter Brewing vessels barrels Tubs Vatts and all and singular other my Implements of household whatsoever And also all my Cattle Stock Crop moneys and Securities for money Mortgages in Fee or for years Leases Bills Bonds notes Book Debts Effects and all other my personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature sort or kind soever I give and bequeath unto my loving wife Sarah and to her Executors Administrators and Assigns to and for her and their sole use and benefit she and they thereout paying all my just Debts and my funeral Expences and the Charges of proving this my Will  Also I do hereby make nominate constitute and appoint my said loving wife Sarah sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former and other Wills by me at any heretofore made and I do declare this alone to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said John Keeves the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this     day of        in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy one  John Keeves Signed sealed published and declared by the above named John Keeves the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in our presence and attested and subscribed in his presence and in the presence of each other By us Thomas Grammer Amos Chinner
