In the name of God Amen I Marmaduke How of Hanslop in the County of Bucks Laceman being of Sound and Disposeing mind memory and Understanding Do make and ordaine this my Last Will and Testament in manner following I Recomend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God and my Body I Commit to the Earth to be Decently Buryed at the Discretion of my Executors hereafter named and as for such Temporal Earthly Estate I shall Dye possessed of I give and Dispose thereof as followeth I will that all just Debts I shall owe at the time of my Decease be paid and satisfyed I Desire my Stock in Trade and Husbandry may be sold and Disposed of so soon as conveniently may be after my Decease   I Give and Devise unto my Dear Wife Phebe How all my household goods plate and Linnen   Item I give and bequeath unto my wife and my will and meaning is that she shall have the Management of and Receive the Interest and produce of all my personal Estate of what nature or Kind so ever for and During her naturall Life and after her Decease I give unto my Nephew Charles How and Elizabeth How Children of my Brother William How Eighty pounds Each To my Brother Benjamin Churchill Twenty pounds and to Marmaduke Kitelee Son of my Brother Thomas Kitelee Fifty pounds and to their Executors and Administrators and as to the Remainder of my personal Estate after my wifes Decease My will is that the same be Divided amongst the Children who shall be then Living of my Brothers Richard How John How Joseph Churchill Rosamond Churchill Benjamin Churchill and Thomas Kitelee Except his Son Marmaduke Share and Share alike and my will is that my wife or my Executors hereafter named shall not be answerable for the Loss of all or any part of my said personall Estate Except by their own willfull Default or Neglect or be Answerable Each for the other but Each for his own Act only and that they Retaine to themselves thereout all such Expences they Shall Sustain Relating to this my will only Requesting my Executors that when ever they see Occasion to take what care they can my personall Estate be not Imbezzled or spent and I do hereby Constitute my Nephew Charles How and my Brother Benjamin Churchill Executors and Overseers of this my will hereby Revokeing all former wills by me heretofore made Ratifying and Confirming this present writeing as and for my Last Will  In Witness whereof I have hereunto Sett my hand and Seal this twenty fifth Day of December in the Year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and forty one Marmaduke How Signed Sealed published and Declared by the said Testator as and for his Last Will and Testament in  the presence of us who have Likewise subscribed our names as Witnesses thereto at his Request and presence and of Each other William Marriott   Edward Bloxham
