In the name of God Amen I Joseph Hindes Senior of Hanslop in the County of Bucks Laceman being in sound mind and memory thanks be to God for the same do make and ordain this my last will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say after all my just debts and Funeral Expenses are paid I give devise and bequeath as followeth Item I give devise and bequeath to my Daughter Mary Panter all that Cottage or Tenement situated in Church End in the parish of Hanslop now in the Tenure of John Gregory if she dies without issue then my will is that it shall go to my Grandson Thos. Hindes and his Heirs for ever I give and bequeath to my Daughter Mary Panter the sum of one hundred pounds of good and lawful Money of Great Britain to be paid to her any time after my decease not exceeding twelve months by my Executor Item I give and bequeath to my said Daughter Mary Panter all my household furniture of what kind or sort soever with all my wearing apparel all the rest and residue or whatever else I die possessed of either in Stock Money Book Debt or Securities for Money or any other ways whatsoever or wheresoever else I die possessed of I give devise and bequeath to my Son Joseph Hindes and Lastly I do appoint my son Joseph Hindes my Sole Executor to this my last will and Testament and I do disannul all former will of wills as witness my hand this eleventh day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy six __ Joseph Hinds Signed Sealed and attested by the Testator and the same was attested by the Testator in the presence of us ___ Amos Chinner ___ Joseph Lever ___ Johnathan Trippet

This will was proved at London thirty-first day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty two before the worshipful Andrew Coltee Doctor of Laws surrogate of the right worshipful Peter Calvert Doctor of Laws Master Keep or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oath Joseph Hindes the Son of the deceased and the Sole Executor named in the said Will to whom administration was granted of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credit of the said deceased he having been first sworn duly to administer.
