I John Herbert of Tathall End in the Parish of Hanslope and County of Bucks Labourer  Do make this my last Will and Testament as follows   I give and bequeath to my Wife Priscilla Herbert All my House Close of Land and Garden situate in Long Street in the said Parish of  Hanslope during the Term of her natural life  And after her decease I give and bequeath to my Son Henry Herbert that part of my said House in  Long Street which is occupied at this time by John Harris as Tenant together with my said Close of Land to my said Son his Heirs and Assigns for ever   And I give and bequeath that other part of my said House and the Garden now occupied by William Atwood as Tenant to my Daughter Fanny after my Wife’s decease to my said Daughter her Heirs and Assigns for ever   And all my other Effects whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath to my said Wife Priscilla Herbert to be her sole Property and at her disposal And I hereby revoke all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made and declare this and no other to be my sole last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this seventh day of July in the year of our Lord 1812 John  Herbert (LS) Signed sealed and declared by the within named Testator as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request in his presence have signed it as Witnesses and in the presence of each other Joseph Hutchings - Daniel Whitbread James Whitbread

1814 November 8th Administration with the Will annexed of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the within named John Herbert deceased was granted to Priscilla Herbert Widow the relict of the deceased he the said John Herbert having made a Will but named no Executor nor Executrix therein
