In the Name of God Amen this seventeenth day of August in the Twelfth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Brittain ffrance and Ireland King Defender of the faith and so forth And in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and thirty eight I Elizabeth Harris of Hanslopp in the County of Bucks Spinster being weak in Body but of Sound Disposing Mind Memory and Understanding (praise be given to Almighty God for the same)  do make and Ordain this my last Will and Testament in Manner and form following (that is to say)   First I give and devise unto my Sister Katherine the Wife of Thomas fforster of Newport Pagnell in the County of Bucks Apothecary and her Assigns All and every my lands tenements Hereditaments whatsoever Situate lying and being in Harpole in the County of Northampton with their and every of their appurtenances to hold to her my said Sister Katherine and her Assigns for and during the term of her Natural life and from and after her decease I give and devise the same unto my Nephew Thomas fforster (only son of the said Thomas fforster and my said Sister Katherine) and the Heirs of his body lawfully to be begotten and for Default of such Issue I will that the same shall go to and be equally divided between the Daughters of my Sisters Mary the Wife of John Clarke of the Town of Northampton Grocer and Susannah the Wife of Richard Watson of Newton in the County of Warwick Gent and their heirs as Tenants in Common and not as Joynt Tenants   Next I give and bequeath unto my said Sister Susannah the sum of ffifty pounds of lawfull money of Great Brittain to be paid to her by my Executrix  within twelve months next after my Decease in and withwhich her said husband and shall not Intermeddle or be in anywise concerned and I will that her receipt alone notwithstanding her coverture shall be sufficient discharge to my Executrix for the same   Next I give unto my said Sisters Mary Clarke and Susannah Watson my little chest of linnen that is now at the House of Mr Thomas Ellis in Hanslopp aforesaid to be equally divided Between them Share and Share alike   Next I give to the poor of the parish of Harpole aforesaid the sum of five pounds of Lawfull Money of Great Brittain to be distributed in such Shares and proportions as my Executrix hereinafter named shall think fit   Next I give unto my said Brother in Law the said Thomas fforster my said Sisters Mary Clarke Susannah Watson and the said Thomas Ellis One Guinea apiece to buy them Rings   Lastly all the rest  residue and remainder of my Goods Chattells and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever (unbequeathed) after payment of my Just Debts legacies and funeral Expences I give and bequeath unto the said Thomas Ellis and John Hurst of Newport Pagnell aforesaid Gent their Executors and Administrators In Trust Nevertheless to and for the several Uses Estates Intents trusts and Purposes hereinafter mentioned limited appointed and declared (that is to say) that the said Thomas Ellis John Hurst and the Survivor of them the Executors and Administrators of such Survivor do and shall as soon as conveniently can be after my decease put and place the same out at Interest on Government and other Securities and the Interest and produce thereof do and shall during the life of the said Thomas fforster my Brother in Law pay and apply to and for the use of my said Sister Katherine fforster his wife separate and apart from the said Thomas fforster her Husband and in and withwhich he shall not Intermeddle or be in anywise concerned And I will that her receipt alone (notwithstanding her Coverture) shall from time to time be a sufficient discharge and Discharges to my said Trustees and the Survivor and the Executors Administrators of such Survivor for the said Interest or produce And Upon this further Trust that they my said Trustees and the Survivor of them or the Executor Administrator of such Survivor do and shall  (in case my said Sister Katherine shall survive the said Thomas fforster her Husband) pay all my said personal Estate unto the said Katherine my Sister for her own absolute use And my mind and Will Is (that if my said Sister Katherine shall dye before the said Thomas fforster her Husband) Then they my said Trustees or the Survivor of them or the Executors or Administrators of such Survivor do and shall pay all or any part of my said personal Estate to such person and persons and to and for such use and uses Estates Interests and purposes as she my said Sister Katherine (notwithstanding in her Coverture) shall by any deed or deeds writing or writings by her duely Executed in the presence of us or more credible Witnesses direct Limitt or appoint And I do hereby declare and my Mind and Will is that such Direction Administration or Appointment to be made by my said Sister Katherine (notwithstanding her Coverture) and by her duely Executed as aforesaid Shall be a sufficient power and Authority to my said Trustees or the Survivor of them or the Executors or Administrators of such Survivor for the disposal and payment of all or any part of my said personal Estate And my Mind and Will further is (that if my said Sister Katherine shall dye before the Thomas Forster her husband and Shall have neglected to have made any disposition of all or any part of my said Personal Estate) Then I Will that my said Trustees or the Survivor of them or the Executors or Administrators of such Survivors do and shall pay all my said personal Estate or so much thereof as shall not be disposed of by my said Sister Katherine as aforesaid unto my said Nephew Thomas fforster (in case he shall be then living but if dead) I will that the same shall be equally divided between all and every the daughters of my said Sisters Mary Clarke and Susannah Watson Share and Share alike and do hereby make ordain constitute and appoint my said Sister Katherine fforster Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking disannulling and making void all former and other Wills by me heretofore declaring this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Elizabeth Harris the Testatrix have to this my last Will and Testament sett my hand and Seal the day and year ffirst above written Elizabeth Harris Signed Sealed Published and declared by the said Elizabeth Harris the Testatrix for and as her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who Subscribed our Names as  Witnesses in the presence of the said Testatrix and of
