In the name of God Amen I Christopher Harris Sener of Hanslope in the County  of Bucks Blacksmith being of sound disposing mind memory and Understanding Blessed be God, Do make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say   First and principally I commend my soul to God who gave it and my Body I Commit to the Earth to be decently buried at the Discretion of my Executor hereinafter Named   In the first place I Will that all my Just Debts and Funeral Expences be payed and satisfyed, After that I give devise and bequeath to my loving Wife Sarah Harris all my Household furniture and six pounds per year of lawful Money of Great Brittain during her life to be paid by my Executor, I give devise and bequeath to my Son Christopher Harris Forty Pounds of lawful Money of Great Brittain to be paid Twelve Months after my decease by my Executor, I give devise and bequeath to my Daughter Sarah Garratt Twelve pounds of lawful money of Great Brittain to be paid Twelve Months after my Decease by my Executor   I give devise and  bequeath to my Son William Harris all that House and Shop with the utensils belonging to the Trade of a Blacksmith and the Premisses thereto belonging Situate Standing and being in long street in Hanslope in the County of Bucks aforesaid during his life and after his Decease I give devise and bequeath to my son Christopher Harriss his Heirs and Assigns for ever the aforesaid House Shop and Premisse him or his Heirs when he or they shall come into possession of the aforesaid House Shop and premisses shall Pay to my Son John Harris or his Heirs the Sum of fifteen pounds of lawful Money of Great Brittain, and shall also pay to my Daughter Sarah Garratt or her Heirs the like Sum of fifteen pounds of lawful Money of Great Brittain   I give devise and Bequeath to all my Grand Children the sum of ten Shillings and sixpence each to be payed Twelve Months after my Decease by my Executor   All the residue and remainder of my Estate real and Personal whatsoever and wheresoever lying and Being I give devise and bequeath the same to my Son John Harris his Heirs and Assigns for ever   I Also Nominate Constitute and Appoint my said Son John Harris Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former Will or Wills heretofore made by me and allow this only to be last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Christopher Harris have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the Seventeenth day of March in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and seventy seven – Christopher Harris his mark (LS) – Signed Sealed Published and declared by the said Christopher Harris the Testator and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our Names as Witnesses hereto – Mary Smith – Susana Dedford – her mark – Joseph Smith
