In the Name of God Amen I Edward Gregory the Elder of Hanslap in ye County of Bucks being weak in body but of Sound and perfect memory Praised be Almighty God for the same Do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following first I recommend my Soul into the hand of Almighty God my Creator hopeing through the Meritorious Death and passion of Jesus Christ my Saviour and redeemer to receive free pardon for all my Sins and as for my body I Comitt the same to the Earth from whence it came to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executors hereinafter mentioned and as for that Wordly Estate in which it hath Pleased God to bestow upon me I dispose thereof as followeth In Primis   Item I Give and Bequeath unto my Son Lewis Gregory all and every that house where in I now Dwell with all the out houses Orchards Backsides Gardens and whatsoever else thereunto belonging situated and being in ye Church End within ye Parish of Hanslap aforesaid During his natural Life and provided my Son Lewis Gregory should die before his beloved Wife Sarah Gregory that then I Give bequeath unto Sarah Gregory my Daughter in Law So being Left a widow by her aforesaid Husband Lewis Gregory all and every my house with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging as above mentioned so Long as my Daughter in Law Sarah Gregory shall remain a widow and no longer and after the death of my Son Lewis Gregory and Sarah his Wife or her not being a widow That Then I Give and bequeath unto the Male heir of Lewis Gregory and Sarah Gregory his first Wife all and every that house with all the rights and priviledges thereunto belonging so soon as the Male Issue shall arrive to age of one and Twenty years at his own disposeing and provided that the aforesaid  Lewis Gregory and Sarah his wife should have no Male heir to survive to the age of one and Twenty years That then I Give and Bequeath unto the Female Heirs of my son Lewis Gregory and Sarah his Wife all and every that house with all the Rights and priviledges thereunto belonging as above mentioned so soon as she shall attaine to the age of one and Twenty Years at her own disposeing But provided Lewis Gregory and Sarah his Wife shall dye and Leave neither Male nor Female heirs to enjoy my aforesaid House that then I Give my aforesaid House with all rights and priviledges thereunto belonging unto my Two well beloved Daughters Mary Gregory and Ursula (?) Gregory at their own disposeing and I Give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Gregory the sume of Thirty Pounds and I Give and bequeath unto my Daughter Ursula Gregory the sume of Thirty Pounds of Good and Lawfull money of Great Brittain to be paid them by my Executor hereinafter mentioned and I Give and bequeath unto my Grandson Edward Gregory the Son of Lewis Gregory and Sarah his wife the sume of Ten Pounds so soon as he shall arrive to the age of one and Twenty years to be paid him by my Executor here Nominated And I Give and bequeath unto my son Lewis Gregory all and every my Apparrell with all my Goods Chattels ready Money Mortgages bonds Bills debts dues and demands at my departure Provided he shall pay or cause to be paid my severall Legacies as above and I do hereby make and ordaine my well beloved son Lewis Gregory to be my Executor of this my last Will and Testament revoking all former Wills or Will by me made In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seal This Twenty first day of May and in the Ninth Year of our Sovereign Lord George by the Grace of God of Great Brittain ffrance and Ireland King Defender of the faith Anno Domini 1736  Edward Gregory Signed Sealed Published and Declared to be the last Will and Testament of the said Edward Gregory Senior in the presence of Thomas Billing   Thos Dandridge   Will. Law
