This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Gordon of Hanslope in the County of Buckingham Yeoman being of sound mind memory and understanding First I will order and direct that all my just debts funeral and testamentary expences shall be fully paid and satisfied and after payment thereof I Give and Bequeath All and singular my live and dead Stock ffarming Utensils and Implements of husbandry household goods and furniture monies and securities for money And all other my personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature kind or sortsoever the same may be unto my dear Wife Mary Gordon To and for her own use and benefit absolutely And lastly I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Wife Mary Gordon sole Executrix of this my Will hereby revoking all former Wills and Testamentary Instruments by me at any time heretofore made In Witness whereof I the said Thomas Gordon have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this Fifth day of November in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and thirty one – Thomas Gordon (LS) Signed Sealed Published and Declared by the said Thomas Gordon the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our Names as Witnesses – Edmund Reeve John Leete Clerks to Mr Worley Sol.
