In the Name of God Amen I William French of Hanslop in the County of Bucks Husbandman being weak in body but of sound mind memory and Understanding praised be Almighty God for the same Do make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following Viz   First and principally I commit my Soul into the hand of Almighty God hoping to be saved through the merits of Jesus Christ my Saviour and Redeemer and as for my Body I commit to the earth to be decently interred at the discretion of my Executors hereinafter mentioned and as for those Worldly goods which it hath pleased God to bestow upon me I dispose of them in manner and form following   Imprimis I Give and bequeath unto Elizabeth my loving wife the Sum of Six pounds and all the Household Goods she brought at the time of our maridge all the rest residue and remainder of my Goods Chattels Cattle Stock and Real and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever within the realm of Great Britain I Give and bequeath unto my four children Viz Samuel French John French Sarah Adams wife of John Adams and Mary the wife of William Crick.   And Lastly I constitute and appoint my said children Joynt Executors together of this my last Will and Testament revoking all former Wills made by me at any time heretofore and to declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this ninth day of October in the thirty third year of our Sovereign George Second………in the Year of our Lord God 1759 The mark of William French – Signed sealed and delivered by us in the presence of the Testator and in the presence of each other by us The Mark of Edward Reddin  Thomas Billing  The mark of Susanna Clifton
