This is the last Will and Testament of Susannah Farey of Hanslope in the County of Bucks Widow   I resign my soul to Almighty God in humble hopes of forgiveness of all my transgressions through the mediation of my blessed Redeemer   I will that all legal debts I shall owe at the time of my decease with my funeral expences be paid   I give and bequeath to my Niece Elizabeth Lane ten pounds   I give to my Nephew John West of Newport Pagnell ten pounds   I give to his daughter Susannah five pounds which I direct to be paid into the hands of Mr Robert Pearson of Newport Pagnell aforesaid for her use and his receipt shall be a sufficient discharge to my Executors for the payment thereof   I give to my cousin John Smith of Drayton five pounds   all the rest residue and remainder of my personal Estate of what nature kind or quality soever or wheresoever I give and bequeath  to my Niece Mary Judge and I constitute and appoint Mr William Barratt and my said Niece Mary Judge Executor and Executrix of this my Will hereby revoking all former Wills by me made and do ratify this present writing as and for my last Will In Witness whereof I the said Susannah Farey have hereinto set my hand and seal this thirty first day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven Hundred and seventy seven The mark of Susannah Farey – Signed sealed published and declared  by the said Susannah Farey as and for her last Will in the presence of us who have subscribed our names as Witnesses at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other Edw Grant Chris Harris
