In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Ellis of Hanslope in the County of Bucks Gentleman being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say   First I give and bequeath unto my Cousin Thomas fforster of Newport Pagnell in the said County of Bucks Apothecary my Silver watch and one Guinea to buy him a Ring next I give and bequeath unto Katherine wife of the said Thomas fforster all my Chinaware my best Tea kettle and six Silver spoons used for Tea marked with the letter E and also to the said Katherine I Give the sum of Ten pounds of lawfull money of Great Britain to be paid her within three months next after my decease and my mind and will is that her receipt alone notwithstanding her coverture shall be a sufficient discharge to my Executrixes for the same   Next I give unto Thomas fforster son of the said Thomas fforster and Katherine his wife my Silver Tobacco Box and one Guinea to buy a Ring   Next I give to the poor people of Hanslope aforesaid the sum of five pounds of like lawfull money to be distributed by such shares and proportions as the Minister Churchwardens and overseers of the poor for the time being shall think fit   Next I give and bequeath unto my Niece Mary Creake all and every my household Goods plate Linen and woollen whatsoever that I shall be possessed of at the time of my decease and not by me before disposed of and   Lastly all my messuages Cottages Lands Tenements hereditaments and the rest and residue of my Goods Chattles real and personall Estate whatsoever and wheresoever not hereinbefore by me disposed of and subject to the payment of my just debts Legacys and funeral Expenses I Give devise and bequeath unto my two Nieces Sarah wife of Humphry Miles of Hanslope aforesaid Lace Merchant and the said Mary Creake their respective heirs Executors administrators and assigns to be equally divided between them share and share alike and I do hereby make ordain and appoint my said two Nieces Sarah wife of Humphry Miles and Mary Creake joynt Executrixes of this my last Will and Testament hereby Revoking disannulling and making void all former and other wills by me heretofore made and declare this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this fifteenth day of June 1739 Thomas Ellis Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Thomas Ellis the Testator for and as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who Subscribed our names as Witnesses in the presence of the said Testator and of each other Edward Hobbs   Ann Hollowell   John Hurst
