In the Name of God Amen The Thirteenth Day of January in the Year of our Lord God 1701/2  I George Castell the younger of Hanslopp in the County of Bucks Apothecary being sick in body but of perfect memory and understanding praised be God therefore I make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following ffirst and principally I commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator hoping through the only merit.. of Jesus Christ my Saviour to receive pardon and remission of all my sins   And my body I commit to the earth whereof it was made   And as for that worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me I give devise bequeath and dispose the same as followeth   Imprimis I will and direct that all such my just debts that shall be due owing and unpaid at the time of my death shall be paid and satisfied with all convenient speed after my decease   Item I give and devise unto my loving wife Anna Castell all that my moiety or half part of all those Messuages Lands andTenements lying and being in Carleton in the Parish of Bosworth or elsewhere in the County of Leicester and the reversion And equity of Redemption thereof  To hold to the said Anna Castell for and during the term of her natural life And after her death I give and devise the same to my Daughter Elizabeth Castell and her heirs But in case my said Daughter shall happen to die without issue of her body in the lifetime of my said wife Then I give and devise my said moiety of the said Messuages Lands and Tenements and the reversion equity of of Redemption thereof to my said loving wife and to her heirs and Assigns forever All the rest and residue of my Estate both real and personall of what nature or kindsoever it be I give devise and bequeath to my said loving wife Anna Castell who I make ordain and appoint full and whole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the day and year first above written and That three words in my hand in the second line of this page were interlined before the sealing and signing of these present George Castell Signed Sealed published and declared by the within named George Castell Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us whose whose names are hereunder subscribed who attested the same in the presence and by the direction of the said Testator William Ward   Richard Wilbee   Elizabeth Ward
