I Abraham Barratt of Hartwell in the County of Northampton yeoman do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say    ffirst I give and devise all and singular my Messuages Lands Tenements Hereditaments and real Estate and Estates both ffreehold customary or copyhold and leasehold and wheresoever situate within the Kingdom of Great Britain with their and every of their appurtenances unto and to the use of my son Abraham Barratt his heirs and assigns for ever    I give and bequeath unto my son John Barratt his Executors and Administrators the Possession of the ffarm and lands which I have already given up to him and which he holds as my undertenant together with the stock of corn grain hay straw horses cows calves sheep pigs poultry carriages and implements of husbandry of every description and all other my ffarming stock and effects both quick and dead which at the time of my decease shall be in upon or about the said last mentioned ffarm and Lands to hold to my said son John Barratt his Executors and Administrators for his and their own use Subject nevertheless to the payment of all such Rent and arrears of Rent as shall or may be due and owing to the Landlord or respective Landlords of such last mentioned farm and Lands at the time of my decease or shall or may accrue or become due to the same at the usual half yearly day of payment then next ensuing    I also give and bequeath unto my said son John Barratt the Sum of one hundred pounds    I also give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary the wife of Thomas Warr of Grafton in the said county of Northampton the sum of three hundred pounds    I also give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth the sum of five hundred pounds which said three last mentioned Legacies I direct shall be paid within six Months next after my decease.
And as to all the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Money and Securities for Money, ffarming stock both quick and dead household goods and ffurniture and all other my Goods Chattles personal Estate and effects of what nature kind or quality soever and wheresoever the same may be not hereby otherwise disposed of I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof respectively unto my wife Mary  and my said son Abraham Barratt their Executors and Administrators to be equally divided between them share and share alike which said Legacy so given to my said wife Mary as aforesaid I do hereby direct shall be in full Barr and Satisfaction of all Dower Thirds and ffree Bench and Right and title of dowry Thirds or ffree Bench either at the Common Land by Custom or otherwise which she my said wife can shall or may have or claim in to or out of any Estate or Estates of which I am or hereafter shall or may be seized or possessed    And  Lastly I do hereby revoke all former and other Wills Codicils and Testamentary dispositions by me at any time heretofore made and do appoint my said wife Mary and son Abraham Barratt Executrix and Executor of this my last will and testament    In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifteenth day of August one thousand eight hundred Abraham Barratt (ls)    Signed sealed published and declared by the said testator Abraham Barratt as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed as witnesses thereto    Jane Pearce  Thomas Godfrey    Rich Allen
