In the Name of God Amen I Elizabeth Abbott of the parish of Hanslop in the County of Bucks  being in reasonable good health of body and of sound and perfect disposing mind and memory blessed be God for the same yet considering the uncertainty of this mortal life do make and order this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)   First and principally I recommend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it in hopes of a blessed Salvation through the merits of Jesus Christ my Saviour and my body I commit to the Earth to be decently buryed therein at the discretion of my Executrix hereinafter named and as for such worldly Estate and Effects as it hath pleased God to bless me with in this life I Give and dispose thereof as followeth (that is to say)   I Give and bequeath unto my Son in Law William Nichoals the Sum of One pound one Shilling of lawful money of Great Britain to be paid to him by my Executrix after my decease One Year and one day And   I Give and bequeath unto my Grandson Jn Nichoals Son of ye aforesaid Will Nichoals the Sum of Ten pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to be paid to him when he arrives to the Age of One and Twenty Years by my Executrix after name   All my Household Goods Effects and Personal Estate whatsoever I Give and bequeath unto my Daughter Sarrah Abbott that is Executrix at the time of my decease and to the said Daughter Sarrah Abbott I Give and devise all and singular my Houses Lands and Tenements with there and every of there Appurtenances now standing and being in Tatle End in ye parrish of Handslop in the County of Bucks aforesaid or else where in this Kingdom to hold the said Houses Lands or Tenements with there Appurtenances unto my Daughter that is Executrix to her Ares and asigns for ever nevertheless not to sell the House that I live in untill ye Legacies be paid and satisfied And my will is that if my Grandson Jn Nichoals should Dye before ye Legacie become due that my Executrix shall keep it for her own propor rite   And I do hereby make constitute and appoint my said Daughter Sarrah Abbott sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby revoke and make void all former and other Wills bequeaths and Legacies by me heretofore in any wise left or made And I do declare this to be my only last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Tenth day of May in the Twenty Ninth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George ye Second by the grace of God of Great Britain ffrance and Ireland King Defender of the faith and so forth and in ye Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred fifty and six - Elizabeth Abbott Signed Sealed Published and Delivered by the above named Elizabeth Abbott as and for her last Will and Testament in ye presance of us Thomas Henman the Mark of Susannah Smith – The Mark of Anne Ares
